Commercial Batteries
Commercial battery storage designed around your business energy use across NSW.
Storage
Store More . Save More . Stay Powered.
Solar Paradigm assesses and installs commercial battery storage for businesses across NSW. We review electricity bills, interval data, tariffs and existing solar generation to assess whether storage can support your operating needs. Battery capacity, inverter power and control settings are matched to the site.
Combine storage with commercial solar, or assess a compatible retrofit. Ask us about demand management, essential-load backup and current incentive eligibility for your business.
What is the difference between battery kWh and kW?
Kilowatt-hours describe stored energy. Kilowatts describe power output at a moment in time. A commercial assessment needs both to match your site demand and intended operating period.
Can a battery reduce business electricity costs?
A battery may help by storing surplus solar, shifting electricity use between tariff periods or reducing peak demand. Savings depend on your load profile, tariff, equipment and operating strategy. A site-specific assessment is essential.
Can a commercial battery provide backup power?
Backup requires compatible equipment and a suitable electrical design. We assess essential loads, starting power and required runtime. Whole-site backup is not an automatic feature of every battery installation.

Works
How Battery Storage Works
A commercial battery can store surplus solar and discharge when your business needs it. Its controls can respond to site demand and tariff periods. Potential savings depend on your energy use, electricity contract, battery size and operating strategy, so we assess the numbers before recommending a system.

Energy Independence & Backup Power
Why do I need battery backup to be energy independent?
A commercial battery does not automatically provide backup power. Backup requires compatible batteries, inverters and switching equipment, with a design that isolates the supported loads from the electricity network.
Most grid-connected solar systems shut down during an outage to protect people working on the network. A compatible backup arrangement can supply selected business loads while the site is isolated.
We assess the equipment your business needs to keep running, including its starting power, operating hours and energy demand. Refrigeration, communications and lighting have different requirements from large motors or production machinery.
Runtime depends on available battery charge and the loads connected. Solar recharging during an outage, transfer time and uninterrupted operation depend on the equipment and design. A battery should not be assumed to replace a dedicated UPS.
Your proposal should identify supported loads, backup equipment and operating limitations. Tell us your continuity requirements so we can assess the right arrangement for your site.
